What is Foundation Programme?
Foundation Programme (FP) provides a unique opportunity to deepen our understanding and experience of the spiritual path through studying and meditating systematically with a group of like-minded people.
The purpose of the Foundation Programme is to provide a systematic presentation of particular subjects of Mahayana Buddhism to enable practitioners to deepen their knowledge and experience of Buddhism.
If you have been attending the weekly classes for a while you may wish to look at this next step which requires a weekly commitment.
Membership is required to enrol for these programmes, however it is possible to arrange a FREE trial class at any time.

The New Heart of Wisdom
Thursdays 6:30-8:30pm
with Resident Teacher Sue Holmes
We will be studying “The New Heart of Wisdom” by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso on Thursday evenings 6.30 – 8.30pm, from November 7th 2018.
This book reveals the profound meaning of the very heart of Buddha’s teachings – the Perfection of Wisdom Sutras. The author shows how all our problems and suffering come from our ignorance of the ultimate nature of things, and how we can abandon this ignorance and come to enjoy pure, lasting happiness by developing a special wisdom associated with compassion for all living beings.
