The first Saturday in April is set aside to commemorate the founding of NKT-IKBU by Venerable Geshe Kelsang in 1991.

The occasion is marked by special events and by pujas and dedications at Kadampa centers worldwide.

Above all, we remember the extraordinary kindness of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Rinpoche in founding NKT-IKBU.

Here at Kailash Buddhist Centre we will be celebrating with a special screening of the ‘The Wheel of Life’ in our beautiful main meditation room.

Followed by a short talk by Resident Teacher Kadam Sue Holmes, then complimentary refreshments in the lounge.
