Easter Bank Holiday Weekend (3rd-6th April)

A Dharma Celebration is a like a small festival within a specific country. The UK Dharma Celebration, or UKDC as it is known, is held annually at Tara Kadampa Meditation Centre in Etwall, Derbyshire.

The Celebration will be taught by Kadam Bridget Heyes, the NKT-IKBU National Spiritual Director for the UK and Resident Teacher of Nagarjuna Kadampa Buddhist Centre, Northamptonshire. Kadam Bridget is a dedicated disciple of Venerable Geshe-la, known for her powerful teachings and her compassionate heart. Kadam Bridget has been studying and practising Kadampa Buddhism for many years and shows an inspiring example for everyone on the spiritual path.

At 2015’s UKDC over the Easter Bank Holiday Weekend (3rd-6th April), our National Spiritual Director Kadam Bridget Heyes will grant the special blessing empowerment of Buddha Green Tara and give a series of talks explaining simply how to make our daily life inspiring and meaningful by practising loving kindness in our daily activities.

As well as the blessing empowerment and teachings, the programme includes guided meditations, prayers and plenty of time to enjoy relaxing in the company of a good-hearted community in the beautiful, blessed surroundings of Tara KMC.

Everybody is welcome, and no previous experience is necessary.
